If you are interested in our club, please come to our next meeting as a guest. It's the best way to know what meetings are like. As the saying goes: "Seeing is believing". It's completely free and without compromise!, we are a non-profit educational organization, organizing everything by ourselves and learning from each other.

What do I have to do before going?

Just come! No preparation is needed and we will welcome you with open arms.

You don't need to tell us that you're coming, but please double check the time and place of the meeting beforehand: send us an email to be sure that there are no last-minute changes.

What do I have to do during the meeting?

Don't worry, in principle you don't have to do anything. You can just enjoy our activities as a guest. Usually you would be asked to introduce yourself BRIEFLY at the beginning of the meeting (who you are and how did you know about the club). Also, usually you would have the opportunity to say a few BRIEF comments at the end of the meeting. Relax and enjoy!.

Can I visit you as a guest again?

How do I join Kyoto Toastmasters Club?

First, you have to attend our meetings three times (not necessarily in a row). Then, if you want to join you just have to say so! Our Vice-President of Membership will hand you an application form and after you fill it in and pay the fees you'll be an official member of Kyoto Toastmasters Club.

How much do I have to pay?

The semi-annual fee is 6,000 ¥. That's what you'll have to pay every 6 months.
For new members, an initiation fee of 5,000 ¥ is required (you'll receive several manuals and learning materials).
